If you’ve yet to receive notification from Microsoft that you can now download Windows 10, there’s a simple way to jump the line and download it now.

Using the Windows Media Creation Tool, you can begin your upgrade to Windows 10 now. For the record, I was able to upgrade my version of Windows 8.1 at midnight, July 29 (as soon as it was officially available), but after a week of waiting for my other laptop running Windows 7, I used this method.
